Help Build our Ultrasonic Heating and Measurement Systems.

A fundamentally different way to heat, measure and control polymer processes.

Fervonic is developing ultrasonic technology that heats polymer materials from within while measuring internal temperature in real time.

We are turning that technology into industrial systems that can make polymer processing faster, more compact, and more energy-efficient.

And we are building the team to make that happen.

We are still at an early stage, which means you will work close to the technology, the founders, and the customers using it.

You will not be joining a large organization with narrowly defined responsibilities. You will help design, build, test, and improve our systems, and have a direct influence on how both the technology and the company develop.

We value people who are curious, practical, and willing to take ownership. You do not need to know everything already. What matters is that you want to understand how things work and are motivated to make them work better.

Work on real technology
Help build systems that combine ultrasonics, electronics, sensing, controls, mechanics, and industrial process engineering.

See your impact directly
Work from prototype to industrial deployment and see what you helped build being tested on real manufacturing equipment.

Grow with the company
Join at an early stage and help shape not only the technology, but also how we work as a team.

Solve meaningful industrial problems
Help polymer manufacturers reduce heating time, equipment footprint, energy use, and material waste.

Integration Engineer – Electrical Systems

Fervonic | Employee #1
Location: Eindhoven (Mostly on-site)
Hours: 32-40 hours/week

The challenge

We are moving our core technology out of the lab and into validated industrial systems with early customers. As our first Integration Engineer, you will work directly alongside the CTO to build, test, and transform a proven high-power concept into robust, safe, and scalable machinery.

Your role

This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary hardware role. You won’t just be sitting behind a desk; you will build, integrate, wire, and test physical electronics and sub-systems to make the complete system function reliably.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hardware and system integration: Wire, assemble, and integrate electrical modules, power supplies, sensors, and controllers into functional test setups and full systems.
  • Lab and field testing: Set up test benches, execute measurements using oscilloscopes and signal generators, and support integration tracks at customer sites.
  • Troubleshooting: Systematically diagnose hardware failures, signal noise, and integration bottlenecks, then implement pragmatic fixes.
  • Documentation and compliance: Create accurate electrical schematics, maintain system documentation, and help ensure machines meet industrial safety standards.
  • Cross-disciplinary collaboration: Interface across mechanical, software, and process engineering domains to bring all components together.

Who you are

We care about what you have built and how you approach complex hardware integration.Whether you are a motivated graduate with strong project or student team experience (e.g., Solar Team, Formula Student), or have 1-4 years of experience in system building or testing, we want to hear from you.

  • Core technical knowledge: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field with a clear understanding of electrical circuits and hardware behavior.
  • Hands-on skillset: Comfortable reading/drawing schematics, soldering, wiring, and using standard test tools (oscilloscopes, power meters, signal generators).
  • System curiosity: Driven to understand how mechanical, electrical, and thermal components interact. You don’t stop when “your” part works, you care if the whole system works.
  • Pragmatic mindset: Comfortable with the ambiguity of early-stage hardware development. You take ownership, ask direct questions, and fix things when they break.

What we offer

  • Direct influence on engineering standards, hardware architecture, and team culture as Fervonic’s Employee #1.
  • Opportunity to take full ownership of system integration today and grow into a broader Systems Engineering role as the company scales.
  • €3,200 – €4,200 gross/month (40h/week, based on experience) + 8% holiday allowance
  • 25 paid vacation days (full-time basis) with options for additional flexible leave
  • Pension scheme and travel allowance
  • Phone and laptop
  • Flexible working hours around core lab and testing cycles.

How to apply

Send your CV together with a short note explaining what interests you about the role and what kind of projects you enjoy working on to info@fervonic.com.

Early in your career? If you have strong hands-on experience and match the mindset, apply! We value raw building capability over checklist credentials.

Internship and “Werkstudent” Opportunities

Location: Eindhoven (Mostly on-site)
Hours: Flexible

We do not assign dummy tasks or coffee runs. Whether you are in the lab optimizing physical hardware or crafting the go-to-market narrative for early industrial adopters, you will work side-by-side with our founding team to turn a high-tech innovation into market success.

Technical track

For students in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or Embedded Systems.

  • Mechanical design: Create detailed 3D CAD models, generate accurate production/mechanical drawings, and design custom enclosures, test rigs, and fixtures.
  • Systems and electrical integration: Draft electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, assemble physical test setups, integrate power electronics, and diagnose hardware noise.
  • Lab testing and validation: Run dynamic acoustic and thermal experiments, capture signal data with oscilloscopes, and map internal material behavior.
  • Embedded and controls: Assist in writing real-time scripts, signal processing routines, and closed-loop temperature control loops.

Marketing and growth track

For students in Marketing, Commercial Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Tech Management.

  • Brand positioning and identity: Help define and execute Fervonic’s visual and verbal brand voice.
  • Deep-tech storytelling: Translate complex physics and ultrasonic technology into sharp, clear messaging for our website, LinkedIn, and pitch decks.
  • Market research and targeting: Identify key industrial segments and map potential customer profiles.
  • Content and digital presence: Produce direct, no-BS content to build brand credibility in the manufacturing ecosystem.

Who you are

  • You want to work on something real and see the immediate impact of your work.
  • You ask questions, call out blockers, and focus on execution.
  • Prior hands-on project work (e.g., student teams like Solar Team/Formula Student, previous internships, or personal technical/creative projects) is a major plus.

What we offer

  • Work closely with the founders, gaining insight into both deep-tech engineering and early-stage startup building.
  • Work schedules designed around your lectures, exams, and thesis deadlines.
  • A fixed-term part-time employment contract.
  • High potential to transition into a permanent role or graduation project as Fervonic scales.

How to Apply

Send your CV to info@fervonic.com with a brief note answering:

  1. Which track (Technical or Marketing) interests you, and what timeframe/hours are you targeting?
  2. What is one project, campaign, or technical problem you worked on that you are particularly proud of?

We review submissions continuously and will invite matching candidates to our Eindhoven office for a chat and a lab tour.

Please note: applicants must already have the right to work in the Netherlands. We are not able to provide visa or work-permit sponsorship at this moment.
